Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician, Iowa Premium, Tama, Iowa

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality
• Inspect various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications
• Filling out an audit report form
• Knowing product specifications for the line they are working on
• Following and helping enforce plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures
• Metal detector auditing
• Testing trim for E.Coli via N60 sampling
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Experience with email communications
• Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Beef products knowledge is preferred
• Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
• Read, write and speak Spanish
