Fabrication Production Leader

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and coordinate incoming service requests from customers via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Serve as support for customers regarding service requests, scheduling updates, job status, and completion notifications.
• Create and maintain proper work flows, QA/QC documents, and ensure all related documentation is complete and accurate.
• Track technician labor hours, material usage, and job completion information.
• Communicate effectively with team members and Prefabrication Leadership.
• Assist with service department reporting, and operational improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Manufacturing experience
• Experience leading or directing a small crew
• Able to follow production processes and keep the cell running to them
• Able to follow QA/QC processes
• Familiar with Microsoft Office
• Able to read a tape measure
• Follows safe work practices
• Able to problem solve and know when to escalate or ask for help
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands to operate office equipment.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, reach on the Prefabrication shop floor.
• Occasionally lift and/or move materials, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must possess visual ability necessary to perform computer work and review documentation.

Work Environment

• Primarily performed on the prefabrication floor and in the prefabrication office environment.
• Frequent communication with Prefabrication production employees.
• Training and review of Prefabrication employees.
• Occasional visits to active construction sites may be required.
• Site visits may involve exposure to weather conditions, construction activities, electrical equipment, noise, dust, and other conditions common to electrical service work.
