Fabrication Metal Prep- Weekend

About the role

This position plays a critical role in achieving Trystar's strategic objectives. The Fabrication Metal Prep is an essential part of Trystar's plan to become the world's foremost custom solution provider.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate standard manufacturing equipment
• Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Enter paperwork into Epicor, including daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, etc.
• Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools
• Debur, buff, or polish materials to specification
• Perform required quality control checks and inspections
• Understand job orders and interact with Epicor
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

• Basic Qualifications: 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced, accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis, ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English, high school diploma or GED preferred, basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience, perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc., and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts, basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly, frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required, ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test, adherence to all PPE requirements to perform the job safely
