Fabrication / Medical Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Fabricates prosthetics and orthoses through lay-ups, lamination, molding, shaping/forming, assembly, and static bench alignment.
• Ensures accuracy of fit, operation, durability, and cosmetic appearance of prosthetics and orthoses through quality checks.
• Completes assigned work for device delivery according to company standards.
• Determines prosthetic needs based on patient data and measurements provided by clinicians.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Adapts to new tasks and requirements, recognizing issues and addressing them promptly.
• Creates effective relationships with staff and customers to ensure customer responsiveness.
• Participates in projects as needed to support the company's goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Able to stand for 8 hours.
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs. frequently.
