Essential Functions Pay Range: $22.75 to $31.75 per hour. (Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am). To provide mechanical and machine maintenance and fabrication support to the Livingston Plant.Fabricate and repair equipment from blueprints and sketches (e.g. tables, conveyers, etc.).Operate lathe and milling machine.Weld using an arc, a heli-arc and gas.General cleaning and/or assisting other areas as needed and to maintain safety, housekeeping and follow proper sanitary procedures.Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must have a minimum of five (5) years of building and facilities maintenance experienceMust have good written and verbal English communications skillsMust be able to interact positively with Plant Production and Maintenance personnel to resolve maintenance issuesMust be able and willing to work rotating Tuesday - Saturday work weeksMust be able to work with minimal supervisionMust possess a high school diploma or equivalentMust be trained in lock-out tag-out and safe work practicesMust be able to bend, stoop walk and stand for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safelyMust be able to work from high altitudes, catwalks and roofsMust be able to lift over 50 poundsMust be able to work on wet concrete floorsMust be able to work overtime, weekends and times dictated by production equipment requirements/needsMust be able to submit and pass a criminal background check Foster Farms ACTION Guiding Principles Accountability: Deliver on commitments.Collaboration: Achieve more by working as a team.Truth-Seeking: Be open-minded and act with humility.Initiative: Be proactive and lead with a growth mindset.Ownership: Take responsibility for results.Nimble: Operate with speed and agility.
