Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day supervision, engagement, and development of your team (coaching, training, relationship building)
- Work side-by-side with employees, modeling a strong “lead by example” approach
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to guide fabrication
- Monitor performance, manage department costs, and stay within budget
- Drive process optimization and efficiency improvements
- Ensure product quality meets customer specifications and maintain strong customer relationships
- Promote and enforce safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Leadership experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or similar
- Strong coaching and team development skills
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Hands-on mindset with mechanical aptitude
