Key Responsibilities
- Learn to operate specialized HVAC machinery and basic HVAC fabrication equipment under night-shift supervision.
- Maintain high levels of focus and safety awareness during overnight hours to support the fabrication team.
- Accurately measure materials using tape measures and other measuring tools.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including reaching, stretching, bending, and walking throughout the nightly routine.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and common fractions.
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
Schedule Flexibility
- Ability to work a consistent overnight schedule and remain alert throughout the shift.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the HVAC manufacturing industry.
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as reaching, stretching, bending, and walking.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled shop environment with exposure to loud noise.
Work Environment & Shift Details
- Shift: 4:30 pm- 3:00 am, Monday night through Friday morning.
- Shift Differential: This position is eligible for an additional overnight pay premium.
- Conditions: This position requires working in a shop environment that may be loud and is not climate-controlled. The role involves consistent physical activity and standing for long durations as part of the nightly routine.
