Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and cut fabric according to specified patterns and designs
- Utilize Lectra cutting machines and hand-cutting tools to achieve precise cuts
- Ensure minimal fabric wastage through efficient cutting techniques
- Inspect incoming fabrics for defects and inconsistencies
- Identify and document any defects, ensuring that quality standards are upheld
General Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fabric Cutter, preferably with Lectra cutting machines
- Knowledge of AutoCAD programs
- Strong knowledge of fabric types including upholstery material, vinyl and leather
- Previous cutting and inspection experience
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- General computer skills
