Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Recognition program and stay actively engaged in safety initiatives.
• Follow all safe work practices, including LOTO, PPE, JHA’s, and "Wait for the Wave."
• Meet all quality standards and customer requirements.
• Complete lift truck training (online and hands-on by a trainer on the shop floor).
• Operate a tow-motor and attachments (plate, forks, clamps) as required for the job.
• Meet or exceed production standards.
• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Operate plant scanners and computers to print or scan tickets and conduct inventory.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis exercises for Safety, Reliability, Cost, and Quality.
• Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work area.
• Learn and perform well on multiple types of machinery.
• Learn how to safely work with blocking/cutting and/or lamination equipment.
• Perform daily machine checklists and promptly report any items requiring attention.
• Correctly and consistently use SAP operations reporting.
• Ensure accurate bin-to-bin movements and issuing of goods.
• Work well in a team-based setting and communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Assist in the training of new employees within the department.
• Accurately measure WIP (Work in Progress) and finished goods.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
