Urgency: We operate with a sense of urgency.Innovation: We embrace growth and change.Create Return on Efforts: We create positive results on all our efforts.Pillars: 1) Safety, 2) Quality, 3) Happiness, 4) Performance Responsibilities And Areas Of Accountability Utilize all standard operating procedures in relation to plate fabrication and stud gunningEnsure that product standards, both as to quality and productivity are metProcessing paper work with accuracy and detailApply all safety measures when working in the shop and with machines/ hand toolsMaintain a positive attitude Requirements Knowledge & Skills: Ability to receive/read instructions and implement specific instructionsAbility to review printsStrong attention to detailMust be able to take and follow directionsKnowledge of different material types (e.g. carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum.)Blueprint reading/interpretationComprehension of AWS weld calloutsInterpreting section and projected views of a 2D drawingGMAW (MIG) Welding ExperienceMinimum 6+ months on the job experience in flat and horizontal positionsFCAW (fluxcore) is a plusGeneral use of hand and power tools Angle grinder, hammers, chisels, pry bars, clampsLayout toolsTape measure, squares, bevel squares, levels (all within 1/16”) Oxy/Fuel Cutting TorchSafe operation and ability to cut materials ranging in ¼”-1” in thicknessForklift Experience is a plusOverhead crane operation is a plusGeneral understanding of safe practices, methods and use of PPEApplicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs, crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work long hours. This position works outdoors year-round and therefore subject to all weather conditions, sometimes to include extreme cold and heat. Education: High School Diploma Experience Maintain and operate cutting torches, stick and wire welding equipment.
