Responsibilities

- Operate machinery as required.
- Assist with lifting, positioning, and removal of fabricated pieces from machines for welding and fitting.
- Load, stack, and transport materials, tools, and fabricated pieces by hand or using equipment such as forklifts.
- Clean and prepare surfaces for fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping.
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any irregularities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Identify safety hazards and take corrective action to eliminate or minimize risks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience and/or training in a fabrication or machine shop environment is required.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment applicable to the position.
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within the company-designated drug consortium.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
- Finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and ability to maintain balance.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
- Use of hand tools such as hammers, knives, or wrenches.
- Visual ability, including color vision and depth perception.
- Work may include pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Identify and address safety hazards to eliminate or minimize risks.
- Perform all duties while wearing protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety-toed boots, hard hat, and gloves.
- Work involves standing and/or walking for extended periods, up to a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures.
- May require working a rotational schedule, including evening or night shifts.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within the company-designated drug consortium.
