About the role
The Global Treasury Advisory Services team at EY is a dedicated and market-leading national practice, supporting treasury professionals in various areas. This team helps clients with tailored treasury insights across different sectors including public and private businesses, financial services organizations, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful execution of Treasury engagements by applying hands-on practical Treasury skills and expertise.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to staff and serve as point person for Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
- Maintain a strong client focus by being responsive to client requests and developing/maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel.
- Participate in meetings and interviews with client treasury personnel.
- Aid in the development of client deliverables and engagement documentation.
- Support as requested with proposal development and business development initiatives for prospective treasury engagements.
- Collaborate with Manager/Senior Manager/Partner to help mitigate project related risk.
- Understand the client’s industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and industry developments.
- Develop and maintain strong networks, both internally and externally.
- Work with other service lines in providing an integrated service delivery.
- Seek opportunities to present EY's services to clients.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 5 years of related work experience.
- Achieved or be working towards a professional designation, such as CTP, CFA, CPA, FRM.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
- Desire and ability to work closely with engagement team members and clients.
- Valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- Advanced skills and experience with treasury organizational structure and transformation, financial risk management (currency, interest rate, commodity), cash flow forecasting, cash and liquidity management, bank relationship management, treasury technology, international treasury center, debt and investment management, governance, controls and regulation, M&A support, hedge accounting.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
- Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, financial engineering, economics, information technology, information systems, engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- A certified treasury professional qualification.
- Consulting experience on complex projects.
- System selection and implementation experience.

The base salary range for this role in the US is $97,300 to $178,300. For New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the base salary range is $116,700 to $202,600. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
