About the role

The Global Treasury Advisory Services team at EY is a dedicated and market-leading national practice, supporting treasury professionals in various areas. This team works with a diverse range of clients including public and private businesses, financial services organizations, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. As a Treasury Senior, you will play a leading role in delivering tailored treasury insights to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful execution of Treasury engagements by applying hands-on practical Treasury skills and expertise.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to staff and serve as the point person for Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
  • Maintain a strong client focus by being responsive to client requests and developing/maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel.
  • Support project team by ensuring products/deliverables are met and contract/work plan specifications and deadlines are achieved.
  • Take ownership for delivery of high-quality work by supporting a broad range of Treasury projects which may include liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, risk management, treasury technology, post-merger integration, and organizational design.
  • Integrate seamlessly with other EY functions to effectively provide for our clients, so you can expect to build relationships with contacts across the business.
  • Collaborate with Manager/Senior Manager/Partner to help mitigate project-related risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong networks, both internally and externally.
  • Seek opportunities to present EY's services to clients.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 5 years of related work experience.
  • Achieved, or be working towards, a professional designation such as CTP, CFA, CPA, FRM.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
  • Desire and ability to work closely with engagement team members and clients.
  • Valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally.
  • Advanced skills and experience with treasury organizational structure and transformation, financial risk management (currency, interest rate, commodity), cash flow forecasting, cash and liquidity management, bank relationship management, treasury technology, international treasury center, debt and investment management, governance, controls and regulation, M&A support, hedge accounting.
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites.
  • A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
  • Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, financial engineering, economics, information technology, information systems, engineering, or another relevant discipline.
  • Certified Treasury Professional qualification.
  • Consulting experience on complex projects.
  • System selection and implementation experience.

Pay

The base salary range for this role in the US is $97,300 to $178,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $116,700 to $202,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
