FA27-007: Pharmacy Practice Lecturer, Part-Time, Continuous

The School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice is accepting resume packages for part-time, non-tenure, semester term appointments for the 2026-2027 academic year. This listing does not represent an actual vacancy; rather open recruitment allows interested persons to submit materials for future vacancies with the School of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and lead at least one section of the class as well as contribute to course coordination activities as part of the course instructor team.
• Teach first and third (P1 and P3) year practice skills course series (Tuesdays or Wednesdays, weekly during the semester).
• Teach Patient-Centered Communication (Mondays and Thursdays).
• Occasional lectures and teaching assistance in other courses.

Requirements

• PharmD degree and eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Illinois is required for all faculty positions.
• Candidates should support our mission to serve patients in central and southern Illinois, especially those in underserved communities.
• Experience in precepting or teaching students or residents is preferred.
