FA Engineer (G-Project)

Main functions

• PROCESS DEVELOPMENT: Develop and improve the testing and failure analysis process of each defective good that needs to have a functional test done in the Service Center (RMA parts from DC and other parts from the internal MRB process). Advise on requirements to support the Test Engineering team in building testing capability for different parts, modules, and assemblies.
• EDUCATION: Educate system technicians on all related testing and the FA process.
• REPORTING: Create a functional part of failure reports and supply root cause analysis together with the QA MRB team. Follow the quantity of tested parts and analyze the failure rate. Check KPI-s like SNR (2nd Return) and NTF (No Trouble Found). Advise actions for improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not Limited to...)

• NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION: Work with QA and PE team to identify all parts and modules that need functional test and FA analysis during the introduction of new products. Cooperate to set up the test specification and requirements.
• QUALITY: Work with the Quality MRB group to process all RMA and MRB units according to internal and customer/vendor requirements in terms of quantity, deadline, and value.
• TEAMWORK: Cooperate with all departments within the Facility and take a lead role on all testing and failure analysis related issues.
• DOCUMENTATION: Create test instructions, relevant SOPs, and process documentation for all parts and modules that need to be tested and analyzed in the Service Center. Work with the QA team to create FA reports for RMA parts.
