About the role

MindCare Solutions, a clinician‑owned leader in comprehensive mental health care, is seeking an LMSW/LCSW/LPC to provide exceptional mental health services in a corrections facility. The clinician will deliver high‑quality mental health care—including psychotherapy, psychological assessments, and evidence‑based interventions—to incarcerated individuals, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Location

Baldwin, MI

Pay

Up to $60/hr

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations of inmates/detainees/residents to diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans, including psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Assess suicide risk and mental health status to determine need for higher levels of care or observation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for medication management and referrals.
• Supervise and train mental health staff; provide in‑service education and crisis‑intervention training for correctional and medical personnel.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and participate in quality‑of‑care reviews.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Active, unrestricted LMSW, LCSW, or LPC license in the state of Michigan.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a correctional or forensic setting (preferred).
• Successful completion of all required background checks and screening processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any facility‑specific clearances or approvals required for the position.
