F&B Wok Inn Dining Room Attendant FT

Job Summary

The Dining Room Attendant assists the service staff in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of guest dining areas and restaurant beverage stations. This position may also serve as a cashier.

Essential Functions

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• Provide proper guest and team member service.
• Clean tables, seats, counters, and floors.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions.
• Assist with errands and food deliveries.
• Handle guest issues and communicate with management.
• Maintain knowledge of and provide guests with information about menus and gaming options.
• Manage and maintain security of confidential information.
• Attend and complete required training.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Guest service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, preferred.
• Spanish or other language skills a plus.
• Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Member and Native American preference.

Work Environment

• Casino floor and normal office setting.
• Frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment.
• Frequent contact with the general public.
• Temperature-controlled environment with varying noise levels.
• May be exposed to high levels of noise.
• Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
• Nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to perform under pressure and work long hours under stressful conditions.
• Exposure to difficult guests and irate staff members.
• Exposure to various types of lighting.
• Travel may be required.

Conditions of Employment

• Able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including background check.
• Keep documents current and valid at all times.
• Able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to provide reliable transportation.
• Comply with KLEC handbook, internal policy, and procedures, and gaming regulations.
• Participate in tip reporting program.
