About the Role
This supervisory position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to completing paperwork. The role involves overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations while maintaining high standards of guest service and adhering to Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOP’s).
Responsibilities
- Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Conduct daily and monthly training meetings with staff.
- Perform daily facility maintenance checks for cleanliness and safety issues.
- Handle employee-relation issues, including documenting and counseling employees.
- Adhere to, explain, and maintain policies and procedures in all operational areas.
- Maintain proper staffing levels.
- Order supplies as needed.
- Use the Refine computer program to update prices and descriptions.
- Perform daily bar checks to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and stock levels according to par.
- Ensure food standards for proper presentation, quality, portion size, and timing.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
- Conduct end-of-month food and liquor inventory.
- Assist the manager with day-to-day operations.
- Ensure employees report to work on time, groomed, and in proper uniform.
- Assist with employee training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (required); Associate’s Degree (preferred).
- Minimum two years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant.

- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Proficiency in accurate mathematical calculations.

Physical Demands
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Use, carry, and operate office equipment requiring finger dexterity.
- Communicate verbally and through hearing and visual acuity.
- Visually focus on a computer for extended periods.
- Adapt to moderate indoor temperatures controlled by hotel environmental systems.

- Meet or exceed measurable targets month-to-month (e.g., sales, labor costs, food/liquor costs).
- Maintain consistent food quality and low comps.
- Ensure consistent cocktail quality.
- Uphold the highest standards of restaurant cleanliness and upkeep.
- Keep labor costs low while maintaining service standards.
- Encourage repeat local business.
- Ensure liquor and food costs remain below projections.
- Ensure staff adherence to BSOP’s.
- Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation within the team and across departments.

Licenses or Certifications
- Must complete Safe Serve Alcohol Vending Course.
