F&B Shift Lead - 3rd Shift

About the role

Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is a gaming facility in Florence, Kentucky, featuring 850 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art HRM games, a simulcast area with VIP section, event center, live horse racing, restaurants and bars. At Turfway Park Racing and Gaming, the Food and Beverage Shift Leader will oversee daily operations, supervise team members, and ensure that our customers receive outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members, assign duties, and create schedules.
• Monitor performance and ensure duties are performed efficiently.
• Report any issues that arise during the shift to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
• Coach team members and train new staff.
• Handle customer issues and employee disputes.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Shift Leader or in a similar role.
• Experience creating shift schedules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain KHRC License.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible shifts.
