Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Hiring Specialist is responsible for managing and executing full-cycle recruitment efforts for Food & Beverage operations, ensuring chefs and managers are supported through the recruitment process. This position partners closely with operational leaders and the Human Resources recruitment team to identify staffing needs, facilitate ADP processes, set up interviews with qualified candidates, coordinate hiring activities, and support a positive candidate experience. The Hiring Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining appropriate staffing levels to support operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and business objectives across all Food & Beverage venues.
Essential Functions
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Graton Resort & Casino standards, policies, and procedures.
- Facilitate recruitment tasks on behalf of Food & Beverage managers by opening requisitions, conducting preliminary interviews and testing, coordinating final interviews, and extending job offers while working in conjunction with the recruitment team.
- Partner with Food & Beverage leadership to identify staffing needs and recruitment priorities.
- Career coordination with HR to schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- In cooperation with HR participate in hiring events, job fairs, open interviews, community outreach programs, and workforce development initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of applicant, Team Members, and organizational information.
- Uphold department policies and standards by enforcing company policies, procedures, and service standards while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and corrective action to ensure fair and consistent performance management.
