About the role

The Technical Manual Developer will author Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Technical Data for the F-35 Program, focusing on avionics and life support systems. Responsibilities include ensuring all contract requirements are met through the development and sustainment of technical data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain F-35 Program organizational level avionics and life support systems technical data.
• Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document technical requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Office suite for document creation and management.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and process specifications.
• Manage and update technical data in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance, modification, and project management.
• Familiarity with F-35 modification and maintenance processes.
• Experience with SGML/XML, SGML/XML Authoring, and related tools.
• Knowledge of F-35 Engineering and Logistics systems (JDL, PDM, QAD, ATLAS, VAS, SFM).
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and process specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in relevant field + 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience, or Associate Degree (AS) + 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience, or High School Diploma (HS) + 6 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Skills: Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance, modification, and project management; ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and process specifications; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Full-time salary range: $88,189 - $149,922.
