About the Role
Provide security program administrative support to include facility, information, and personnel activities.
Responsibilities
- Support general Information Security (INFOSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), and Physical Security (PHYSEC) duties.
- Administer and enforce security policies and procedures regarding the proper handling, safeguarding, marking, and destruction of controlled information.
- Analyze and research security issues, identify solutions, and communicate those solutions effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Schedule and conduct audits and training ensuring security and administrative procedures are adhered to, identifying any improper practices and recommending corrective action.
- Provide physical security support by monitoring access to controlled areas, reviewing and evaluating program Standard Operating Procedure documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Support, administer, and coordinate the safeguarding of classified information and material.
- Support classified material safeguards, classification management, security inspections, security surveys, alarms, and equipment tracking/shipping.
- Liaise with outside agencies such as NCIS, CLPD, and NAWCWD Security, as well as collaborate with CL NAWS.
- Ensure security policies and procedures are current, compliant with governing directives, and accurately reflect the mission.
- Develop and provide communications security training to personnel.
- Review, update, and draft communications security processes and procedures.
- Rotate security functions to cross-train in all areas.
Requirements
- Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- A high school diploma plus 7+ years of relevant experience is required. An Associate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.
- Must already possess a security clearance and be able to maintain it throughout the duration of employment.
- Experience with the classification process and the handling of classified material.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaison with outside agencies.
- Possess high moral character and integrity.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.

- NAWCWD Security mission understanding and experience.
Pay
Salary Range: $70,310 - $80,000
