F-22 Modernization/Sustainment Program Manager (Dayton OH)

About the Role

Provide full-spectrum Acquisition Program Management Support to the US Air Force F-22 Systems acquisition programs within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Apply the full range of acquisition program management principles, policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities, including pre- and post-contract award and milestone reviews in support of existing and future F-22 programs.
• Assist in the identification of requirements to support the acquisition, sustainment, and supportability improvements from program initiation through initial operational capability and continued sustainment to bed-down of the weapon system.
• Support management of the acquisition and modifications, as well as all associated requirements as they pertain to other functional areas including logistics, contracting, engineering, finance, and configuration management.
• Apply the principles, criteria, and procedures of the DoD, including DoD 5000.01 and DoD 5000.02, as well as the policies and processes of USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC, Fighters Directorate, through the F-22 Division level to all tasks.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree plus 15 years of relevant experience is required. Post-secondary education may be substituted for work experience.
• Of the total relevant experience, a minimum of 5 years must be managing programs in a DoD acquisition environment.
• Requires a Top Secret/SCI security clearance (adjudicated within the past 5 years) on the first day of employment.
• Must be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Ability to understand and assimilate highly complex technical information.
• Assist in the assessment, operational planning, testing, and transition of technology to support new USAF programs of record.
