About the role

The part-time assembler will ensure parts and components are properly assembled to the highest quality standard. The assembler follows work instructions and can work both alone and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and inspect finished assemblies for defects, ensuring products meet specifications and tolerances
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols throughout the assembly process
• Identify and report defective materials, parts, or equipment malfunctions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S or similar standards
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines
• Package and label finished products for shipment or the next stage of production
• Rotate through different stations or tasks as production needs require
• Adhere to PPE requirements and all workplace safety guidelines

Requirements

• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
