Tissue Recovery

The Eye Recovery Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that the gift of donation is honored through the timely and thoughtful procurement of ocular tissues for corneal transplant.

Laboratory Support and Maintenance

Performing other duties as needed or assigned in lab maintenance, quality control, training, and research.

Documentation and Record Keeping

• Maintain documentation of in-process tissue as required, and timely update records at each step in the process.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor related information.

What Else Should I Know About This Position?

• This is an hourly, per-diem position, scheduled for a minimum of 1-2 shifts/week; the weekly schedule will likely include weekends.
• Due to the nature of this work, this position is 100% in-person – remote work is not available for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• This position offers a base pay of $15.00 per hour, plus an additional $2.00 per hour for each hour scheduled to be on call.
• Additional compensation is provided per recovery, with rates varying by location.
