About the role

EY-Parthenon’s Value Creation practice helps PE firms, their portfolio companies, and corporate companies realize better returns by unlocking value and accelerating time to money through targeted operational improvements. This role involves leading and executing operational focused projects, including operational due diligence, buy side carve out and integration planning, post-acquisition 100 day and value creation planning, ongoing performance improvement, and exit readiness planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project teams comprising of colleagues from across the EY-Parthenon sub service lines.
  • Work in a fast-paced, exciting environment with strong business acumen to drive value to our clients.
  • Drive pursuits, including presentations and client meetings. Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus of our team as a great place to work.
  • Coach, train, and mentor junior team members to support achievement of their career goals.
  • Build strong trusted advisor relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice, and support to key decision makers.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
  • Strategy and operations management consulting experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving/modeling skills, and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience in operational due diligence, operational transformation, and performance improvement.
  • Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Deep understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • A proven record of excellence in M&A transactions.
  • Experience in driving operational improvement programs in a corporate setting.
  • Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Dynamic individuals who thrive in ambiguous situations to help clients solve their most critical strategic, business, and economic challenges.
  • Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $205,000 to $235,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

We offer a flexible vacation policy where you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
