Extrusion Operator

Key Duties

• Operate, set up and carry out tool changes in accordance with relevant specifications, use all measuring equipment.
• Carry out Qc checks, report any problems to supervision, complete and quality documents.
• Act in accordance with Health and Safety policy.
• Meet statutory duties and cooperate with the employer on all Health and Safety matters.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in and around the work area.
• Advise a supervisor/manager of any housekeeping problems.
• Ensure all processes are run efficiently.
• Make suggestions to improve operation efficiency and effectiveness.

Candidate Skills & Requirements

• 2 years of extrusion experience on a setting and operating level
• FLT Counterbalance licence – advantageous
• To demonstrate excellent attention to detail
• To have strong organisational skills, to be able to manage and plan own workload effectively and prioritize tasks
• Analytical Thinking
