Extrusion Operator

About the role

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to work as an Extrusion Assistant in the Waterford, NY area.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment
• Build products as per work instructions
• Contribute to a mistake-proof process by ensuring quality through attention to detail
• Perform daily/weekly preventative maintenance of equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized workspace following 5S principles
• Maintain records and ensure tight inventory control and security

Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Experience in plastics blow molding, plastics extrusion, or plastics injection molding is a must
• Operate production equipment and build products as per work instructions
• Contribute to a mistake-proof process by ensuring quality through attention to detail
• Perform daily/weekly preventative maintenance of equipment

Skills/Experience Required

• Basic computer skills
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Experience in plastics blow molding, plastics extrusion, or plastics injection molding is a MUST
• Operate production equipment and build products as per work instructions
• Contribute to a mistake-proof process by ensuring quality through attention to detail
• Perform daily/weekly preventative maintenance of equipment

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing/sitting
• Regular use of hands
• Lifting and moving objects ranging from 10-50 pounds

Pay

$19.00 - $20.50 per hour

Schedule

• 12 hour shifts, 4 days a week
• Shifts include 7:00 AM-7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
