Extrusion Manager

Essential Responsibilities

• Set-up and tear down of the polymer extrusion line.
• Troubleshoot issues with the extrusion line.
• Maintain and operate extrusion line equipment.
• Work with production personnel and R&D to ensure extruded tubing meets requirements and make adjustments as needed.
• Generate documentation on extrusion runs for traceability and reproducibility.
• Write and execute process and equipment validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Collaborate with Research and Development, Marketing, Quality, and Manufacturing Departments during the development of new products.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Develop and supervise the Extrusion Department.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in hands-on extrusion of medical grade tubing.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment.
• Good organizational skills.
• Proactive and initiative-driven approach to project completion.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
