Extrusion Blend Plant - 3rd Shift
About the role
The Extrusion Blend Plant Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating blending equipment at the Extrusion facility in Rocky Mount, to manufacture lineal products according to specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Operate blending, mixing, and related production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Measure, weigh, and add raw materials and ingredients accurately based on production formulas.
- Monitor blending processes, temperatures, pressures, and batch times to ensure product quality.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
- Record production data, batch records, and quality checks accurately and completely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with housekeeping and safety standards.
- Follow all safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including proper use of PPE.
- Clock in and out for shifts, and assist with loading, unloading, and transferring materials as required.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to report equipment issues or product deviations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.

- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

- Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Preferably with experience in manufacturing
