About the role
This position is a temporary role within the Kern County District Attorney's Office. Minimum qualifications include completion of at least one year of full-time study in an accredited school of law.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and apply legal principles, facts, evidence, and precedents to legal problems.
- Present statements of law, fact, and argument clearly and logically in both written and oral forms.
- Maintain effective public relations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of: the principles of law and their application; legal research methods and the preparation of briefs and opinions; county government functions and legal responsibilities.
