Job Responsibilities

  • Perform general office and clerical duties, including filing, record maintenance, data entry, and document organization.
  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and staff in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and emails to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Provide information or assistance regarding departmental programs and/or services.
  • Aid with logistics such as setup, sign-in, communication, and materials preparation.
  • Assist with short-term research or Departmental Special Projects as needed.
  • Create flyers or promotional materials using templates or software.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks and projects.

Minimal Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training may be required based on departmental needs.

Hours

  • Part-Time (Up to 28 hours per week)
  • Monday – Friday, Flexible schedule. (Some position(s) may require evening and weekend availability).

  • El Centro Campus (3390 North Avondale Ave. Chicago, IL 60618)
  • CCICS Campus (700 E Oakwood Blvd, Chicago, IL 60653)

Pay

  • The hourly rate for this position ranges from $15.00 to $30.00, based on available departmental funding.

Schedule
