Extra Duty - Varsity Football Assistant Coach

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Fulfills all assigned duties under the guidance of the Varsity Head Coach.
• Teaches and directs student-athletes to achieve high levels of skill, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
• Assists in planning and setting up activities, practices, and games.
• Maintains accurate records and completes required paperwork promptly.
• Maintains a safe environment and facilities for student-athletes at all times.
• Enforces discipline policies and emphasizes sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles.
• Travels with student-athletes on the team bus to and from games/events.
• Ensures compliance with medical and safety requirements.
• Confidentially maintains and secures student records and inquiries.
• Professionally represents the school and the District in interactions with students, parents, community, and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate
• Certificates as determined by OSSAA
• Commercial Drivers Licence (CDL) preferred
