About the role

Join Chapa‑De’s clinical team as a Sterile Technician, ensuring medical and dental instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilized, organized, and ready for patient care while supporting efficient clinical operations and high infection‑prevention standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, inspect, prepare, package, and sterilize medical and dental instruments and equipment.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and maintain accurate sterilization records following quality‑control procedures.
• Assemble, organize, and maintain sterile instrument trays, supplies, and equipment, keeping appropriate inventory levels.
• Follow established infection prevention, safety, and sterilization standards to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure instruments and equipment are available when needed for efficient patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Infection Control certification.

Skills

• Ability to learn quickly, retain information, take feedback, and follow established sterilization procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative, dependable attitude with a willingness to learn, train, and support the clinical team.
• Previous dental, sterilization, or dental assisting experience is a plus (but not required).
