External Affairs Coordinator - Chattanooga, TN
About the role
Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic External Affairs Coordinator to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This position plays a crucial role in increasing awareness for organ and tissue donation through community outreach, marketing, and public relations.
Responsibilities
- Raise awareness for organ and donation through community events, campaigns, and presentations to increase the donor registry.
- Develop strong community and corporate partnerships to further our mission.
- Engage partners through social media, webinars, podcasts, and other platforms.
- Cook up opportunities and events for Donate Life Ambassadors (our volunteer base) to encourage the community to help save lives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Three plus years prior experience in community outreach, event planning, public speaking, communication, management, and/or marketing.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and multitask.
- Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
- Demonstrated writing and public speaking abilities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- The ability to creatively approach marketing and outreach.
