Extended School-Year Summer Program Teacher Aides

Duties

Provide educational support and personal care to students.

Responsibilities

• Monday-Friday, 3.5 hours/day.

Locations

• Vollmer Elementary School (K-7)
• Senior High School (4-12)

Hours

• Vollmer Elementary School: 8:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
• Senior High School: 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Salary

• $22.50 per hour minimum, based on experience, no benefits, rate includes a differential for performing personal care duties.
• $18.00 per hour minimum, based on experience, no benefits, rate does not include the personal care differential for performing personal care duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus one-year experience working with children.
• Preference in appointment will be given to current R-H Paraprofessionals.

Effective Dates

• July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026 (Optional prep days June 29 - July 2 and online orientation June 11).

Requirements

• Must be able to work majority of the session.
• Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
