Expressive / Art Therapist Full-time/Part-time $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

The Expressive/Art Therapist functions as part of a multi-disciplinary team and is directly responsible for the planning, scheduling and facilitation of goal-oriented expressive art therapy groups and individual art therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and facilitate goal-oriented expressive art therapy groups
• Facilitate individual art therapy sessions

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Art Therapy from accredited college or university
• ATR (Registered Art Therapist) preferred
• Minimum of two years experience as an Art Therapist in a behavioral health care setting preferred
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
• Must possess advanced knowledge of counseling and therapeutic concepts and methods for determining therapeutic services for psychiatric and chemically dependent clients
• Must possess knowledge of the developmental stages of children, adolescents and adults
• Certification in CPR required upon hire
