Express Technician - Boardwalk Honda

About the role

Boardwalk Honda, part of Group 1 Automotive—a Fortune 250 company and one of the fastest-growing leaders in automotive retail—is seeking an Automotive Express Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services (changing oil, transmission fluids, and filters) in a safe manner.
• Perform thorough check of customer’s car (e.g., check additional fluid levels, battery, lights, tire pressure) and refer all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
• Ensure the customer’s car is kept clean.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop area.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure all equipment, especially lifts, is in proper working order.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.

Pay

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience.
