What To Expect

The Express Claims Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in driving team performance and operational excellence within Tesla Insurance. Primary responsibilities include managing and developing a team of high-performing claims adjusters, while driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement—all while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Continuously develop talent by creating opportunities for direct reports to grow and acquire new skills.
• Proactively assist in selecting top talent, deliver ongoing coaching, and recognize employees to reinforce behaviors that ensure service excellence.
• Promote claims customer service excellence by building empathy and passion for a customer experience that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Analyze problematic trends, take corrective steps to prevent recurrence, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Promote a culture focused on identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve work completion and overall team performance.
• Support and guide team members in handling claims effectively, both individually and collaboratively in a team atmosphere.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 1 year of prior auto claims supervisor experience or 1 year of experience as a Senior Claims adjuster at Tesla
• Strong passion for customer advocacy and team development
• Strong supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience with handling property damage claims
• Able to complete work effectively both individually and in a team atmosphere
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and implement sustainable solutions
