Express Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Lexus of Cool Springs is expanding its team with a Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering fast, expert service and outstanding customer care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the service team to deliver efficient, expert care on every customer vehicle
• Perform minor services including lube, oil, and filter changes, following all dealership and manufacturer procedures
• Conduct thorough multi-point inspections on each vehicle (Customer Pay, Warranty, Extended Warranty)
• Identify all legitimate service and repair needs and document recommendations in the Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) report
• Prepare accurate estimates for additional work and communicate findings to the Service Advisor for guest approval
• Aid fellow technicians with light mechanical duties as needed
• Maintain excellent communication with Service Manager, Service Consultants, and technicians to meet Lexus time standards and exceed guest expectations
• Keep the shop clean and equipment calibrated to Lexus standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to a smooth, professional shop environment

Requirements

• Strong commitment to safety - consistently use PPE, back belts, safety glasses, and shoes
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Dependable, team-oriented professional with a passion for quality service

Qualifications

• At least 19 years old
• Pass pre-employment testing which includes background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license for at least 3 years
