Export Customer Service Representative (OnSite) 1

About the role

To ensure optimum service in one or more areas of the Customer Service Department. You will promote an environment of teamwork and productivity under the guidance of the Customer Service Manager, ensuring accuracy and completion of orders. This role involves collaboration with customers, the Export Manager, MAHLE Agents, IT, Inventory Control, Production, Distribution, and Traffic to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all parties involved (Export Manager, MAHLE Agents, Logistics, IT, Accounting, Production).
• Maintain direct contact with MAHLE Agents and customers to inform and advise on sales policies, current price lists, order confirmations, proformas, export documentation, and product information.
• Research claims for credit and debit, applying company policies to transactions before passing them on for credits or debits to be issued.
• Create and update daily production reports.
• Enter customer discrepancies into the system for review.

Requirements

• Ability to work with and through others at all levels.
• Experience with AS400 and SAP is a plus.
• Proficient in the use of spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (Word) software.
• Associate’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive background and experience in dealing with export customer service.
• Strong product knowledge is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
