Expo/Food Runner

About the role

Barrio is now hiring for a Food Runner position at our Portsmouth, NH location, with hours of operation from Monday to Thursday, 3pm-12am, Friday to Saturday, 11am-1am, and Sunday, 11am-12am. Full-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Plating trays and building appetizers for service, ensuring proper portioning and presentation
• Maintaining pars and inventory throughout the shift
• Running food and addressing customer needs in a friendly and positive way
• Bussing tables and helping to turn the house efficiently
• Helping the bar stay stocked on ice, glasses, fruit, etc.
• Keeping the service area clean throughout the shift
• Setting up and breaking down the service area
• Communicating with the Manager on Duty about the status of inventory

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation, with evening and weekend availability
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Prior experience is not necessary, as on-the-job training is provided.
