Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the pass, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dishes from the kitchen to the guests.
- Inspect and garnish dishes before they leave the kitchen, maintaining our presentation standards.
- Cook up to 50% of the menu items, ensuring quality control.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to understand menu items and ensure quality control.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Absorb and relay information from the kitchen to the servers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an Expo or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience through meticulous presentation and timing.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
