Role: Expediter

Invitation

Invitation: To make a difference by loving people through coordination and communication.

Specific Functions and Duties

• Receive all incoming food orders (15%*)
• Clock in tickets and assure ticket cook times meet or exceed our standards (20%*)
• Communicate between the service staff and kitchen staff (5%*)
• Complete all plate presentations per the recipe/plate presentation specifications (30%*)
• Pass a final quality check on the food for plate presentation, temperature, garnish and time (5%*)
• Cooker food delivery with food runners (20%*)
• Set-up expediter station, keeping it clean, organized and stocked throughout the shift (5%*)

Qualification Standards

• A desire to care for others, grow, and learn
• A positive attitude
• Mobility required during the entire shift
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
• Able to wipe down shelves, pick debris up off the floor and wipe down counters
• Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent danger to self and others

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to navigate throughout the restaurant and communicate with guests
• Move and grasp items up to five pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Bend and stoop
• Adequate vision to be able to discern cleanliness throughout the restaurant and operate a touchscreen
