Exploitation Specialist (Data Scientist) – Junior

About the role

BLUEHAWK, LLC is seeking an Exploitation Specialist (Data Scientist) - Junior to support mission-critical analytic and data exploitation efforts at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Support data exploitation and analytic efforts for mission-focused GEOINT operations
• Develop and enhance data-driven analytic methodologies
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets to support operational intelligence needs
• Collaborate with technical and analytic teams to build scalable data solutions
• Leverage Python and SQL to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data
• Contribute to mission innovation and emerging analytic capabilities within the Intelligence Community

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field
• Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to undergo a CI Polygraph
• Ability to work onsite in Springfield, VA, 40 hours per week (no telework available)
• Proficiency with Python
• Intermediate SQL skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to adapt to dynamic mission requirements and learn new technologies quickly

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GEOINT collection and NGA/NRO systems
• Experience with visualization platforms such as Grafana, Tableau, or Kibana
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with object-oriented programming methodologies
• Experience developing or testing analytic methodologies and workflows
