Expert Technical Assistant for Transgenic Services, Center for Core Facilities

OTHRFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: headings

for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. Must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, no invented details. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, duplicated lines, application instructions. So we need to extract relevant content: job description, duties, required qualifications, salary and terms, contact info maybe? But contact info is part of application instructions? The instruction says remove application instructions. However contact info for questions maybe allowed? It says "Questions For specific information about the position, please contact Facility Manager Javier Martin Gonzalez at javier@sund.ku.dk." That's not exactly application instruction but contact for questions. Might be considered part of application instructions? The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." So contact for questions could be considered application instructions? Probably we should remove that line as it's part of application process. However we might keep contact info if it's not strictly application instruction? Safer to remove it. Also remove "Foreign applicants may find the following links useful..." etc. Remove "Application The application must be submitted..." etc. Remove "The closing date for applications is 30 September 2026." etc. Remove "The University wishes to reflect the diversity..." etc. Remove "The University of Copenhagen has established a new shared administrative organizational structure..." etc. Remove "APPLY NOW" etc. Remove "Contact Javier Martin Gonzalez E-mail: nsg618@ku.dk Info Application deadline: 30-09-2026 Employment start: 01-12-2026 Working hours: Full time Department/Location: Center for Core Facilities Search all vacancies". That's metadata; we can fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. The instruction: "do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So we could include a short paragraph with start date, working hours, etc. But we must not create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. The posting does mention salary terms: "Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Circular on the Collective Agreement concerning Academics in the state sector... There will be an opportunity to negotiate supplements based on qualifications. You can read more about salary levels in the state sector www.loenoverblik.dk (in Danish). We offer a one-year contract in a full-time position (37 hours a week)." So we have salary info (though not specific number) and schedule (full-time 37h/week). According to rules: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Also "IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. 'commensurate with experience', 'not specified', 'N/A', 'varies', 'TBD') and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." The posting does state salary terms (though not a number) and schedule (full-time 37h/week). So we could create a Pay section? It says salary and other terms are set per collective agreement, opportunity to negotiate supplements, link to salary levels. That's specific enough? It's not a specific number but it's still content. The rule says never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. It does state salary terms (though generic). So we can include a Pay section with that info. Similarly Schedule: "We offer a one-year contract in a full-time position (37 hours a week)." That's schedule info (full-time, 37h/week). So we can include Schedule section. Benefits? Not mentioned besides contract length. Could include Benefits? Not really. Could include a Benefits section if there is mention of benefits like contract length? Not exactly benefits. Probably not. We need sections: About the role (maybe a summary), Responsibilities (list of duties), Requirements (maybe required qualifications), Qualifications (maybe education etc), Skills (maybe specific skills). But we must avoid thin sections. Could combine some. We have: Job Description paragraph: "The TCF looks for a technical assistant to support and enhance the operation capacity of the existing team. The primary duties of the Expert Technical Assistant will consist of:" then list of duties. Required Qualifications: bullet list of qualifications. Also there is mention of "They should be able to work independently on a daily basis but also be a proactive team player who looks after the improvement of the core facility in all aspects." That's more of a skill/attribute. We could structure:

About the role

... brief description of the facility and role.

Responsibilities

  • ... each duty

Requirements

  • ... required qualifications (degree, FELASA, English fluency, genome-editing understanding, hands-on experience, user-level experience on DB and MS Office)

Skills

  • ... ability to work independently, proactive team player, improvement mindset

Pay

Salary set according to state sector collective agreement; opportunity to negotiate supplements based on qualifications; see www.loenoverblik.dk for salary levels.

Schedule

One-year contract, full-time position (37 hours per week).

We must not repeat job title as heading. Good. We must not include duplicated lines. Ensure we preserve all substantive info: we need to include the start date (starting 1 December 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter). That's schedule/start date. Could include in Schedule section or About the role. Since schedule section already mentions contract length and hours, we could add start date there. Also mention location: Center for Core Facilities, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. Could be in About the role. Also mention that the Transgenic Core Facility provides services etc. Could be in About the role. We need to preserve all substantive info: list of duties exactly as given: - performing embryo harvesting, culture and transfer to recipient females - performing mouse line archiving and GM mouse colony management - supporting the microinjection area: DNA/RNA and ESC injection in mouse embryos - supporting the molecular biology area: gene editing and genotyping strategies and other molecular biology techniques - advising facility users on scientific projects and results - contributing to technical development and implementation of new transgenic techniques - data recording and establishment of databases for benchmarking of services Also note: "The applicant should be able to work at least one weekend a month." That's a requirement; could be in Requirements or Skills. Also required qualifications: bachelor or master degree in Biology or Medical Sciences and FELASA-certified education and training to work with laboratory animals, fluent in English oral and written. Must possess solid general understanding of genome-editing technologies, especially CRISPR/Cas9, and proven hands-on experience with major molecular biology, mouse embryo handling and cryopreservation technics, as well as extensive user-level experience on database management and Microsoft Office applications. Also they should be able to work independently on a daily basis but also be a proactive team player who looks after the improvement of the core facility in all aspects. Also mention "Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Circular on the Collective Agreement concerning Academics in the state sector concluded between the Danish Ministry of Finance and Akademikerne (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). There will be an opportunity to negotiate supplements based on qualifications. You can read more about salary levels in the state sector www.loenoverblik.dk (in Danish). We offer a one-year contract in a full-time position (37 hours a week)." Also mention start date: starting 1 December 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. Also mention that the Transgenic Core Facility is part of Animal Core Facility, etc. Could be in About the role. Now we need to output only HTML fragment, no markdown fences. Let's craft. We'll have:

About the role

The Transgenic Core Facility (TCF) at the University of Copenhagen provides basic and advanced services for genetic modification in mice and cell lines, embryonic stem cell derivation, mouse embryo culture, assisted reproduction technologies and cryopreservation. TCF is part of the Animal Core Facility within the Center for Core Facilities, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. The role is to support and enhance the operation capacity of the existing team, with a start date of 1 December 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter).

Pay

Schedule

One‑year contract, full‑time position (37 hours per week), start date 1 December 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter).

We need to ensure no duplicate info: start date appears in About and Schedule; maybe we should keep only one. The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. If we put start date in both places, it's duplicated. Better to put start date only in Schedule section, and About the role can mention the role and facility without date. But we need to preserve start date somewhere. So we can put start date in Schedule only. About the role can omit date. Thus adjust About the role to not include start date. Let's rewrite About the role: mention facility and role. Now Schedule includes start date and contract length/hours. Check duplication: we also mention "one-year contract" in Schedule; we also mention "We offer a one-year contract in a full-time position (37 hours a week)" in Pay section? Actually we placed that in Schedule. Pay section only about salary. Good. Now ensure we didn't miss any substantive info: The description of TCF services, part of Animal Core Facility, embedded in Center for Core Facilities. That's in About the
