About the role
This role supports organizational growth by identifying and creating new business opportunities within the government segment through outbound prospecting. It involves generating and managing a pipeline of potential customers to support the sales team's efforts. The role focuses on cold outreach and lead qualification within a specialized market segment. Success is measured by the quality and quantity of leads generated and the effectiveness of lead qualification and appointment setting. The work directly impacts the organization's ability to expand its customer base and achieve sales objectives in the government sector.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cold outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate new business leads within the government segment
- Manage and cleanse data in the customer relationship management system to maintain accurate records of prospecting activities
- Communicate with prospects to understand their needs and build interest in the organization’s solutions
- Follow established lead management and qualification processes to ensure consistent lead handling and appointment setting
- Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality, processes, and performance to support continuous improvement
- Qualify leads and set appointments to facilitate the sales team’s engagement with potential customers
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Less than 2 years of call center or sales experience (Preferred)
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay
Total Target Cash Pay Range: $52,200 - $94,300, inclusive of target incentives.
Base Pay Range: $36,540 - $66,010. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on work location, qualifications, and experience.
Employees in regular, non-temporary Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
