Experienced Welder - Fitter

About the role

Responsible for performing a variety of welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate various welding machines and tools to fabricate metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy of work.
• Assist in the assembly and installation of mechanical systems.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
• Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in welding and fabrication.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in oxy-acetylene welding, MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and mechanical drawing interpretation.
• Experience with basic metalworking techniques and safety practices.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy.

Pay
