About the role
The role of Crew Chief is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of water restoration professionals. This includes directing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and providing leadership and support to team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Direct and motivate a team of water restoration professionals to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards regarding safety and quality.
- Communicate effectively with clients to maintain positive relationships and manage expectations.
- Train and mentor new employees to develop their skills and contribute to the team’s success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water restoration or related field.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using industry-standard tools and equipment.
- Experience with water damage mitigation techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of insurance claims processes and documentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
