About the Role

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Manager / Installer. This is a unique hybrid role that combines warehouse operations and field installation work, offering consistent hours, hands-on experience, and additional earning potential through piece-rate installation pay. The role begins each morning in the warehouse preparing installers and trucks for the day ahead. After warehouse duties are completed, the employee will transition into the field to complete one garage door installation in the afternoon. Traveling to another market during the training period will be mandatory.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Warehouse Operations
• After 11:00 AM: One installation job per day
• No overnight travel required

Responsibilities

Warehouse Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations and maintain organization
• Receive, organize, and track incoming inventory and materials
• Stock installer trucks with parts, tools, and job materials each morning
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages
• Keep warehouse clean, safe, and operational at all times
• Assist with loading and unloading products and deliveries
• Support technicians and installers with job preparation
• Ensure materials and equipment are ready for daily operations
• Help maintain company standards for efficiency and safety
• Manage inventory process on computer and tablet

Installation Responsibilities

• Complete one garage door installation each afternoon
• Install garage doors and related components according to company standards
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Provide excellent customer service during installations
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Maintain professionalism while representing the company in customers’ homes
• Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding job progress

Pay

• $18/hour - $20/hour for warehouse responsibilities depending on experience
• Additional piece-rate compensation for installation work

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Able to use a computer and tablet
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn installation skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Warehouse, construction, delivery, or garage door experience is a plus, but not required
• Willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and motivation to grow
